Donna Karan is a leading global fashion designer whose philanthropic contributions range from pediatric AIDS to cancer research among other noteworthy causes. In 2007 she founded Urban Zen as a vehicle to empower and enrich cultures and she serves as honorary ambassador to Haiti. In partnership with the Clinton Global Initiative she works relentlessly to aid Haitian artisan commerce.
